SCROLL
a new kind of club soccer for kern county
The Kern County Kits program was created to give families a better option between expensive travel clubs and unpredictable rec soccer. Our mission is to deliver high-quality training, qualified coaching, and competitive soccer — right here at home, without the constant travel.

Our vision
Coach Ben Warren is the founder and developer of the Kern County Kits program. Coach Warren has been coaching soccer in the Bakersfield community for over 18 years. During this time he has seen firsthand how many families spend their weekends traveling out of town year-round for soccer games. Unfortunately, these travel demands can be very difficult for families to accommodate, and they ultimately limit access to numerous children who want to learn to play the game of soccer at a high level.
With the travel club world not being accessible to all, and local recreational leagues not offering the guarantee of quality training, many kids are not receiving the opportunities they need to properly develop their soccer skills.
The goal of the Kern County Kits is to bridge the gap between the travel club soccer world and local recreational leagues. Our mission is to provide high-quality training to our local community while eliminating the cost and time commitments that come with traveling out of town for games.
We believe that offering an organized program led by qualified coaches—while keeping games and training sessions local—will support the development of many young soccer players, reduce the burden on participating families, and strengthen our local community.
